I bought this drill primarily for its power. It easily handled mixing 25 pound loads of non-shrink grout using spiral mixing paddle with ease. Its a nice addition to my tool collection and I am looking forward to using it on upcoming heavy duty drilling projects.

Excellent power, weight and ease of use!

This drill is amazing! Lots of power and speed. Feels really solid. It’s a heavy duty drill so it’s a little heavy.

This drill is powerful, comfortable and has good variable speed control I would recommend it highly for the weekend DIYer or the construction pro….great tool!

Heavy duty drill for use when you do not need the bulk and weight of a large drill such as Milwaukee’s Hole Hawg. I’ve used it for drilling through doublesole plates with hole saws up to 6″, and 1-1/2″ holes in 14-gauge steel tubing without difficulty. The handle locks in place on studs on drill’s collar so it does not slip from heavy torque, which friction-fit handles tend to do.

I purchased this produce a few weeks back. I have not used it yet, however, when building a deck on the back of my house, I borrowed this same drill to use for securing the decking planks. It worked beautifully and I decided I had to have one in my tool collection.

This drill was much an improvement than the lesser models I returned.

Used it to mix thin set the first time I bought it. No smoke as compare with my 8 Amp Dewalt. Hope it will last longer than the other 2 drills.

I bought this drill in February to use to wire brush some old beams. The drills handle was helpful when I was brushing the beam. It has also been excellent for drilling wholes in concrete. Impressed with the quality of the tool.

All the power, good grip, and durability I was looking for. The power to handle big jobs, and big drillbits, like augers for example. I still use my 1/2″ –4.5 amp Craftsman ( that I’ve had for about 25 years) with it’s variable speed adjustment dial for all other jobs ( I don’t think they make them like that anymore). But I needed more power for bigger jobs, and the 1/2″ —10 amp Dewalt fits the bill nicely. No more borrowing my brothers drill when I have a big job to do.

This Dewalt 10 Amp drill is easy to assemble. When using, I find it necessary to use 2 hands. I used it with a 1 1/4-inch bit to drill into Aspen stumps. about 25% of the time, the bit would get stuck 5 inches deep and I would have to use locking pliers to remove the bit from the wood. After 3 stumps of 12 holes each, the bit wore out. I replaced it with a 3/4-inch bit and the bit never got stuck. So, although this drill has plenty of power, I find that the 1 1/4-inch bit may have been too much for the drill. However, for the price point and the power, this is a very good deal. Unless you have to have a cordless drill, I would strongly recommend this drill for most uses where power is needed.

This is a great drill, it performs like I needed to. I have a lot of home improvement projects going on and my cordless drill was not holding up to the job, so I purchased this drill and it solved my problems.
