This drill is awesome! I primarily use this drill for drilling 5/8″ bolt holes in either 6 x 6 or 4 x 4 post when I build decks. Cordless drills lack the torque to do the job hole after hole. This drill has lots of power and does a great job without overheating.

GREAT TOOL

Why good and not excellent? The Chuck tool is too short to always get a tight grip on the bits. The Chuck holder, the provided rubber is useless. It tore on first use. Otherwise the drill performance is as expected.

The E-clutch is fantastic! Saved my wrist more than a couple times. I drill holes for low voltage, most of the time through multiple glued pre-fab ply.

It is an excellent drill with a lot of power to work in any project. If needed the power grit provides excellent control.

A great drill with plenty of power. This is one of the few DeWalt drills I own that still uses a keyed chuck. That aside, it is a great drill. Typical DeWalt quality.

The title says that this stool has the e-clutch, but if you look at the actual description, it doesn’t. I had a customer who bought this because they thought it had the e-clutch, and ended up getting injured because it didn’t.
