This hammer drill is a big step up from other hammer drills that I have owned, in particular those made by Craftsman. It is a bit heavy, but very powerful, and made short work of drilling holes in a concrete slab upon which I was attaching PT 2×4 sleepers to accept 5/4 deck boards. The fact that it was on sale didn’t hurt either.Nice trigger feel, and I used it not only to drill the holes, but switched it over to fasten the masonry screws that I used on the sleepers. Plenty of torque to seat the screws The handle can be moved in multiple positions, so no problem if you are lefthanded. Reversible, two torque settings, plus, of course, the hammer drill setting, this is all you will need for heavy duty drilling needs. I ordered this on line, as my local Home Depot did not stock it, arrived at my door in 3 days. This one is a keeper.
