I am so happy with this Sawzall. The feature I like the best is the lil yellow tab that you flip up to put your new blade in. Easy-Peasy… You don’t have to use a screw driver to get the plate open to put a blade in like the old ones. Love this update for sure!!! A client told me about them for tree pruning. I bought myself one 8 years ago. Great for a lady like me. Easy to handle. Thank-you!

I compared features on reciprocating saws for weeks but kept coming back to this one. Ten amps at this price point is great as it is, but the 4-position blade clamp set it apart. The rock-solid feel, quality cord, excellent power and quick blade changes are all there… but getting them with the flexibility of changing the blade orientation at this price just doesn’t happen with other brands. I brought this home day one and used the horizontal blade orientation to flush-cut some sloppy work cemented to the underside of a kitchen counter.Very happy with my purchase through several projects so far, and I look forward to taking it to some iron rebar building a hog pit this spring.

Have owned this for a month now and wonder why I never bought it sooner. Great tool to have on hand! Easy to change out blades, balanced feel in the hands and power to spare. Have already tackled several projects that I have been putting off. With this Reciprocating saw they were a breeze. Knocked them out 1,2,3… Already looking for my next project around the house… Quality is so good that I’m now looking at other DEWALT tools to purchase.

I find it easier to use than a chain saw for trimming small dead branches from my trees. It is also easy to attach blades. I have only used it twice and i:’m well pleased.

This Saw has plenty power to get the job done. I was using a Jigsaw, but never again. I noticed one reviewer used his saw 10 years and went to use it one day and found it broke in two. Well it did not break itself. Someone must have backed over it with their car or truck. This is a very tough made saw and it would not just break in two. I am extremely pleased with this saw and I do recommend it to all my friends and family.

This has surpassed all expectations in a reciprocating saw I love the easy blade change feature and the multi angle blade use it has more than enough power to take on all jobs

I wore out a cheap B&D saw; overwork killed it. I wanted a well built tool. I got one in this saw. It is HEAVY after using the cordless B&D, and the blade is loose in the clamp mechanism. Put a good blade in it and it will definitely cut with authority. Now if it will just last….

Although the tool is very good, it just seems amazingly bad for the company to not even include one blade to go with it. I couldn’t believe it, I had to put in a new order in order to be able to use it.

The blade wobbles over 1/4″ in the vertical and horizontal direction. With the lever blade system there seems to be no set screw to tighten the blade. Other companies restrict the wobble to a 1/16″ to 1/8″ tolerance. The saw has excellent power so when starting a cut, especially in metal, the wobble makes it a challenge to hit the mark.
