I really like this reciprocating saw. I like the 4 positions you can put the blade in. It is very handy that way. The only thing I wish they’d change is to make the shoe adjustable. That would make this thing the ultimate saw. Nonetheless, awesome!

Instead of a bulky tool, the size in this product is very convenient….feel solid …just vibrates a little too much…that will be the downside…..

This is an outstanding product. I’m a do it yourself home owner type, so when it comes to choosing tool to get the job done I want the quality of a professional grade tool, but I shop for the product that rides the edge in terms of price, (complicit with quality), versatility and uniqueness. The biggest driver in choosing this model of “saw’s-all” for me, was its ability to be used with one hand. Like many people, I am usually working alone and have limited workspace. If I need to cut something I also find the need to be able to hold it (piece being cut) with the other hand. The compactness, power and ergonomics of this model offer the best balance. Conventional reciprocating saws are long, making the fulcrum point far from the leverage/holding point. Having the saw engine set at a 45-degree angle allows more precise control coupled with less strain on my hand and arm. The 10 Amp motor holds its own in terms of torque, RPM’s while saving weight compared to the 12 and 15 amp models. Great buy! Only down side is that I could not find this model in either of the 2 Home Depot stores near me. Thus, getting that warm fuzzy feeling before taking it home was not available. I ordered it online, and after using the chat feature, interfacing with customer support, (and competitor pricing I found online) HD matched the lowest price and offered free shipping, so use the online chat, it works.

Great tool. Sturdy and well made. Love the size and weight. Easy to maneuver in small spaces. More than enough power. Works perfectly. No complaints.

I was able to use the dewalt reciprocating saw to remove a back bumper from a 2000 jeep cherokee. The saw preformed out standing for the job. The saw is variable speed making it nice to cut when close to other pieces that I did not want to cut. I would recommend this saw for anyone to use.

I bought the DeWalt 12.0 Amp/3000 spm recip saw this weekend and had a large amount of cutting to do in the yard. This included taking out a dead, hardwood tree with 8″ trunk. Took the tree down with a 12″ pruning blade. Also many overgrown Oleader trees with 2″ to 4″ trunks. The saw did all the cuts no problem. We just ran out of space to dispose of all the trimmings!

This is exactly what I have been looking for. Corded, for continuous power, and compact to fit between studs. This is perfect for converting my kitchen wall into a kitchen counter. I bought it on sale ( Father’s Day) so I even saved more money. No regrets.

I like the new design of this saw. Seems to have plenty of power. I don’t care for the blade storage slot, blades tend to get hung up in the material. But I will adapt and over come.

I have had this saw for about 2 years now, up until about 4 months ago it had been a back up. The saw has plenty of power for being lightweight and compact. I use it to remove door frames wood/aluminum/vinyl all day. The saw does vibrate and is not as easy to control as a standard Milwaukee. Also lately I have had trouble getting the blade lock mechanism to latch without manually pressing it shut with the old blade. If you need a saw for hd use in tight spaces this is your saw. If your a professional looking for something lighter…… your arms will thank you for sticking with the Milwaukee.

Well built; compact; heavier than I thought. Used to remove stubborn honeysuckle bushes w/ a pruning blade. Suggest a trigger safety. Received blister on thumb after prolonged use so may need to try anti-vibration gloves. The carrying case is a plus. Would recommend. Made is USA.

I only purchase DeWalt tools. Tried the others in the past. DeWalt tools are tough and work the longest.

I got this as a gift for Christmas last year. I work in construction and it’s perfect when you get in those tight spaces. Plenty of power. Very handy tool.
