This compact reciprocating saw is perfect for the jobs I do, particularly for dismantling pallets – it’s quiet, smooth and powerful. A must have for any DIY or tradesman who doesn’t need the big powerful version.

Great tool. Sturdy and well made. Love the size and weight. Easy to maneuver in small spaces. More than enough power. Works perfectly. No complaints.

Owned this for 5yrs. Used other models but this gets in between studs, cut at any angle and power. Used it in remodel , outside for fence, tree stumps. this is the most versatile saw.Far greater stability when in your hands because of the grip. love this saw.

I got this saw because the Black & Decker straight saw I was using just wasn’t strong enough to cut thru hedges & 4″ tree roots. This saw does the trick! It cuts through thick roots and branches like butter! The User Guide is very detailed about what precautions to take when using this saw. I guess because it’s a reciprocating saw, there’s a shoe on the front that’s supposed to be pressed firmly against the material being sawed. I found out why – there’s so much vibration with the saw that if you don’t keep a firm grip, you take a chance with kickback. The only problem I had was that since I’m cutting close to the ground, I found that you really can’t just push the blade thru the wood. I solved this problem by simply rotating the handle of the saw, and cut thru these roots just fine. Last, I decided to store the blade in the plastic display card it came in. It’s thinner than I thought it would be and I’m concerned about having it snap in two if it stays attached to the saw and isn’t stored correctly.

I’ve had this saw for about 6 months and I really like it. The compact size makes it easy to fit into tight spaces and the multi position blade clamping mechanism is super handy.

I bought this saw to cut large underground roots from tree stumps. With a set of pruning blades, this saw cut those very dense hardwood roots like a hot knife through soft butter. At first, I though the compact design might hinder working in tight spaces but it worked better than I thought it would.
