Squeeze into tight spaces to singlehandedly complete tasks with this shallow-profile compact grinder from DEWALT. When 2 hands are better, grip the (removable) side handle to apply more pressure and stability. A simple on/off switch engages the 7 Amp motor on this small-angle grinder, delivering a robust 12,000 RPM. Attach, rotate and secure the One-Touch guard into one of several positions without any tools. Easily affix or remove 4-1/2 in. discs onto the flange with included wrench.

I used the included grinding wheel to smooth out copper. separately, I ordered a cutting wheel and the type 1 guard N042786 and was able make short work of cutting 1/2 inch galvanized steel diamond plate. happy with purchase.

I’ve used this a lot. It’s powerful and works great. But I can’t seem to find the proper guard for enclosing cut-off wheels. So, I still use it with em, but am nervous as heck. This is a safety issue and Dewalt should be be making it stupid easy to find and get the right guard. Just a matter of time before something bad happens.

Cut out a 4 inch pole that also had concrete poured in middle. Changed from metal to concrete blades and both worked well. Blade didn’t reach all the way through but mull did the rest of the job. Let the tool do the work and cut on an angle. Reading directions if you haven’t used this type of tool will help.
