Squeeze into tight spaces to singlehandedly complete tasks with this shallow-profile compact grinder from DEWALT. When 2 hands are better, grip the (removable) side handle to apply more pressure and stability. A simple on/off switch engages the 7 Amp motor on this small-angle grinder, delivering a robust 12,000 RPM. Attach, rotate and secure the One-Touch guard into one of several positions without any tools. Easily affix or remove 4-1/2 in. discs onto the flange with included wrench.

Purchased this with a DW010 Dust collector and DWE46125 grinder shroud. As a remodeler we constantly have to cut into plaster and drywall. The dust issue is obvious. Had tried another brands grinders with dust shrouds but we could never solve the vacumn hose issues. Constantly either duct taping the hose connections together or using 2 miles of adapters to make the different hoses connect. I went all in with dust collector and grinder shroud-all dewalt. The system works perfectly. (For info on the grinder shroud and vacumn see other reviews.)Pros- Grinder has- on and off switch vs paddle, which which we wanted for this application. Good value for the money. Just enough power to cut thru plaster and lathe without bogging down. Easy and light enough to control overhead while cuttting.Cons- Cord is a little to short for connection to vacumn when when working over head.To soon to rate durability yet but the grinder is well built and has not heated up yet despite an hour straight of use.**If using with the dewalt shroud I used the black adapter and whell lines up perfectly witht he alignment marks.

I haven’t had the grinder long enough to rate it. But it works great for the job, that need to be done. But instead of getting a spandner wrench. To apply the disc, it came with allen wrench. Which has no use for that tool. You will have to purchase an spandner wrench to change the disc off and on.
