When 2 hands are better, grip the (removable) side handle to apply more pressure and stability. A simple on/off switch engages the 7 Amp motor on this small-angle grinder, delivering a robust 12,000 RPM. Attach, rotate and secure the One-Touch guard into one of several positions without any tools. Easily affix or remove 4-1/2 in. discs onto the flange with included wrench.

Made this purchase to replace a unit I owned and worked to death for some twenty-five years. DeWalt has the best versatility for the kind of work I get into in small places. So I chose this for my cutting and grinding. First job it was put to the test with a diamond cut saw to smooth edges of a tile lineand grind back the old mortar. And followed up with cutting bolts flush to the existing floor with a 6″ metal cutting disc. The removable guard is perfect to do the trick.
