I’m in the Welding / Fabrication industry and use these grinders every day. 3/8” thick super rough edges is the primary application. I grind a lot of mill scale as well. After 150 hours of use over the course of an entire year, my main grinder shows NO signs of slowing down anytime soon. Great purchase, which is why I went ahead and bought several more. I’m about to get my 7th.

Ample power, cuts well with thin discs, slightly heavy if working for longer periods, but power vs weight was a good trade for me. I like the wrench on my prior grinder better, better grip and leverage. The lock to hold the arbor is slightly awkward to press and tighten or loosen, but ok. I’m satisfied and would recommend, and buy again if occassion rises.

When I received this product and once I opened the box I had a huge smile on my face and I still get it when I go to use this tool. This angle grinder had three powerful systems for great performance such as the Dust Ejection System, the One-Touch Guard, and the quick change guard which is the best feature ever! There is so many times where I have used other grinder and I have to remove the blade and I slice my knuckles open from the gaurde! Haven’t done it on my dewalt yet! This grinder is well built and very powerful!
