I like the no tool change for the guard but a little difficult to re-install it. Has plenty of power to grind welds all day long with out missing a beat.

The DWE43113 comes with a type 27 guard. According the the manual, a type 1/41 guard is required for use with a a cut of wheel. It does not matter if the cut off wheel is type 27 or type 1, a type 1/41 guard called out in the manual. According to the parts department, a type 1/41 guard is not available for this model. I wanted a angle grinder that would have the proper guard for use with a cut off wheel.

This is one of the best tools I have ever bought. I am a mason. I take the guard off and put an 8” diamond blade on it. I use it to cut block, concrete and rebar. It’s at the best for toothing joints in a masonry wall. It’s light,strong enough to pull the 8” blade. Sma enough to have good vision.
