We use these at work and for the price they’re pretty good. We have around 100 employees and 15 rig trucks that aren’t easy on them. Never had a problem warranting them. I would recommend these. They come with a 6″ gaurd as well.

I bought these two grinders around the same time and set one up with a hard wheel and one with a flapper disc. The metabo literally started smoking while this little guy kept taking the abuse. Both vibrated the same and the metabo had a faster brake and it wouldn’t bog down but for the price and performance I got out of the Dewalt I should have just bought two of these instead.

I bought this last week to grind concrete floors to augment my larger 7 inch grinder in the tight spots up against baseboards and corners. Excellent power and torque and the length of the tool combined with the ergonomics of the grip are spot on for me with a 4 inch diamond grinding wheel. I also prefer the allen wrench for tightening the nut versus the traditional U tool with pins. This allows you to tighten the concave concrete grinding wheels better, preventing slips and cuts your hands from the diamond pads. Lots of torque! Nailed it DeWalt!
