I have two of these on my welding truck and i use them daily. after a year of use i am still please with them. the RPM is slower than smaller grinders, to compensate for the larger capacity, so dont expect a 13,000 rpm screaming shower of sparks. For the cost, you cant beat it. The do seem to be slightly weaker than comparable 13 amp tools, but AC/DC input versatility makes up for that small hit. Ill be picking up two more soon.

I like the no tool change for the guard but a little difficult to re-install it. Has plenty of power to grind welds all day long with out missing a beat.

i have had a few ryobis, they are not bad for normal shop work. but burned thru 2 in 2 years…time to upgrade to a dewalt…i wish i spent the $earlier on this. 13 amps with a 4.5 wheel is like shooting fleas with a bazooka…and it can handle a 6 inch with using a guard, or a 7 inch with no guard. this thing is unbreakable!
