This die grinder is a heavy weight beast. I first used one of These electric die grinders professionally almost twenty years ago. I had a crush on them ever since. If you don’t have an air compressor with enough cfm to run an air powered one or if you don’t want to drag out the air hose this Dewalt die grinder is a great choice. It is a bit heavy but that helps it to not bounce all over your project. This is a very well built and solid tool. I expect years of service life from my tools and this one is no exception.

Bought mainly to use with a cut off wheel to cut steel. Decent power for the money. A little bigger than I expected. Hope that equates to a longer life. Runs a little hot when using for a while.

The lock on switch takes getting used to. The RPM’s seem much slower than 25K. But for my needs this works out just fine.
