I love this saw. I traded in a Ryobi for this one and I’m glad I did. It’s lightweight and works really well. I used it on 1/2″ and 3/4″ plywood so far and it cut very quickly and easily. Installing the blade was way easier and faster than on the Ryobi. I only wish it came with a carry/storage bag and edge guide like the Ryobi saw did. It’s not worth it to me to buy the separate edge guide, though.

Excellent product! light weight, versatile, a all purpose saw included. great value for the price. I personally prefer the cord saw rather than cordless that runs on rechargeable batteries. Unlike drill that you often need to take it to different place, circular saw for home use typically does it work on a home work bench that is accessible to power plugs. Only thing I am struggling is how to cut things in a straight line. The pencil mark is covered quickly under the shoe plate. One way is to add another pencil mark to the edge of the shoe plate once you are happy with you saw position. Another way is to put a guide to the edge of the shoe plate. So you would need to own a few clamps to not only hold down the work piece, but also the guide in place while running the cut.
