The Dewalt 15 Amp Lightweight Circular Saw is a great tool. Out of the the box the saw cuts great, the electric brake feature is nice as it stops the blade much faster than saws with out it. The saw is a very light at approx 8.5 lbs and makes it easy for a long day of use. While it is corded the cord is 10 ft long and can obviously be plugged into an extension cord for additional reach. The bevel and depth adjustments are intuitive and easy to use. The saw comes with a decent blade especially for rough cuts if you are looking for something to provide a cleaner cut you may want to consider upgrading. The saw also comes with a decent bag for storage and carrying around. Very happy with this saw and expect it will be a staple in my garage for years to come.

I have used this Saw now on several projects cutting panels, dimensional lumber and pressure treated. It cuts great, it’s quiet, and cuts straight. I plan to add the dust collection attachment just to keep the shop cleaner when I use it.

I have this saw a little while now, also have a regular 575 that I call my “demo” saw. This one is for finer cuts and has 60 tooth finish blade. No resistance, cuts nice and straight and clean. Pretty low noise and brake works well. Brake is not instant like a battery saw, but stops quickly. Nice heavy cord and adjustments are solid and simple.

This saw is great. So much torque, will built, and the design is well thought out.

Seems to work okay, the electric brake doesn’t work properly but I can’t tell because I do not have access to a known good saw

Hi, I am well pleased with the purchase, It was delivered in great condition and it operates just as I expected .All I had to do was read the instructions and safety manual and install the blade.I have used it and am very happy to own the saw.

This saw cuts smoothly with little or no vibration. It is light but solid and fits my Kreg saw track perfectly. The only minus is the plastic blade guard, but I suppose it was necessary to help make the saw lighter. The angle locking lever is a joy to use and I am impressed with the blade guard lever. Safety is important to me and I still have all 10 fingers and want to keep it that way. A lot of saws come with no blade or a cheap blade to start with so when I ordered my saw I also ordered a Diablo 60 tooth ultra-finish blade. The 24 tooth combo blade can be quickly and easily swapped back in to cut framing lumber. Over all I am very happy with this saw.

It’s solid and as a first timer getting his first tool I think I made the right choice.I bought it for building a garage shelving system with 2x4s, it works exactly as it claims and I used it to build my wall shelves without a single issue. I was debating between cord vs cordless, I think if you are cutting your woods on table or floor in a set area then you can do everything with cord machine. You will need cordless when you are moving around a job site for cutting. You should be able to do most wood cutting (2×4,boards) with 6-1/4, I picked 7-1/4 for future cutting of bigger pole sizes of backyard patios.Note: You will need a power extension cable to make your work easier unless you work very close to a power outlet.
