I thought the smaller blade diameter would be a draw-back. Not so far. Maybe when trying to get replacement 8.25″ blades. Good power. Locking handle for blade angle too easily loosened due to location. Hop that time with saw will make this a non-issue. Dust port a good size. Just difficult finding 2.5″ vac hose along with connectors & adapters. HD doesn’t carry them.

Debated between the 10″ version and this one, but very happy with it for the level of woodworking and light construction that I do. Comes with a 24 tooth rip blade; I advise that you pick up a 40 tooth and a 60 tooth for finished plywood and finer finish molding and framing cuts. Saw deck track is compatible with add ons like a 45 degree miter sled. Happy, happy, Joy, joy.
