I purchased this to replace a competitors table saw after 7 years of issues. This saw was quick to setup and has all the necessary attachments to get anybody started. The cuts are very precise, blade changes are quick and easy, and it has storage for all the accessories right onboard. I am very impressed with this table saw and you will be too.

This saw is perfect for my shop. Space is a premium for me and I really like the way it folds up easily and can be wheeled out of the way.The dust port makes it very convenient to hook up my dust removal system.One drawback is the anti-kickback “teeth” attachment. It not only prevents occasional kickback but also impedes smooth feed if a piece you want to cut. I just removed it.The other drawback is the plastic gizmo that hooks to the top of the saw blade. It made it impossible to make cuts of less than 1/4”. So I just removed it as well.All in all this is a great tool that makes accurate and smooth cuts just like I expected.

I tried a Craftsman table saw, such garbage from Craftsman-returned. The Ridgid 10″ contractors saw that came out of the box about .007 out on the blade to miter slot and would not hold adjustment -returned, the Dewalt 7491rs was a great saw but too big for my shop/needs-returned, finally settled on the 7485 because of its size. I have a very small workshop (8′-5″ x 8′-5″ ok so it is a converted storage shed) and this saw fits perfectly. Right out of the box it is dang near perfectly accurate. The blade is parallel to the miter slot and the rip fence is dead on parallel to the blade. Had to make a minor adjustment to get the blade to 90. I use it for woodworking and it is nice to have an accurate table saw right out of the box without having to make any major adjustments. I wouldn’t recommend anyone attempt to rip a 4×8 sheet of anything on this saw unless you have competent help and even then I would be worried. I am not breaking down anything bigger than 5×5 so it is manageable albeit still somewhat sketchy. The dust collection on the blade guard didn’t work for me, oh well life is hard sometimes. Don’t care about the noise I have and use hearing protection. Long story short, I tried to go the cheap route with Craftsman and Ridgid, what a waste of time and money. The Dewalt’s cost quite a bit more but they are worth every penny.I could not be happier unless it was free. 🙂

Absolutely love this saw! It replaced a Rockwell with a cast iron table that weighed about 12k pounds. It just wasn’t practical for bringing to various job sites. The DeWalt is very light and super portable. Very good rip width and accuracy. I’ve put about 8 hours on it in two “sessions” ripping pine planks to finish the interior of and old porch and it’s a real workhorse. It’s also quiet. I had no need for a larger blade as I also have a DeWalt mitre saw. Get it – you will NOT be disappointed!

An all around excellent saw. I bought this primarily for the adjustable fence as my older saw didn’t have it and I really like the feature. The quick stop of the blade is really nice as you aren’t waiting around and everything just sounds nice and healthy at full RPM. I found dust collection to be adequate but no portable table saw has ever blown me away in this department. This unit is rather heavy for its size but I definitely don’t think about this much at all – its a table saw lol. A buddy of mine came over and tried it out and went and got one soon after because he liked it so much. Couldn’t be happier with this unit!

Works great. I love how conveniently everything fits together. The side rail locks in nicely and adjusts with a turn of the nob, plus it has the measures built in. Very handy, no tape measure needed for most cuts. Had no issues cutting 4×8 sheets also.. Don’t bother with the safety guard, unless you’re inexperienced. It’s much smaller than the 10″ and is easy to carry with all pieces packed inside. I’ve only been using it for a week, so far no issues.
