Maximized for accuracy and capacity this 8-1/4 in. table saw includes on-board storage for blade guard assembly, non-through cut riving knife, anti-kickback pawls, blade change wrenches, miter-Gauge and push stick. The powerful DEWALT 15 Amp, 5800 RPM motor allows users to complete a majority of applications. The rack and pinion fence allow for fast, easy adjustments and provides the capacity to rip 4×8 sheet goods. The DEWALT DW7440RS Rolling Table Saw Stand has a lightweight design, weighing only 33 lbs. The heavy-duty kickstand allows the stand to balance upright for mobility and storage. Folding legs with quick release levers collapse under the stand, minimizing overall size for transport and storage. The retractable soft grip handle allows the user to pull the stand behind them comfortably with the weight of the saw near the ground. The quick connect stand brackets attached to the saw for easy detachment from the stand for loading and unloading. The DW7440RS includes: stand and quick connect stand brackets.

I bought this saw just over a week ago so that I could build my own shaker cabinet doors. Where as it will get the job done, you’ll have to work extra to keep every cut consistant. Once the saw is set and you turn it on, the vibration from the saw will make the blade depth adjusting wheel turn on its on. Im having to set my cut depth and then hold the adjusting wheel with one hand and my work piece with another. On bigger pieces I tape the wheel to the locking handle to keep it from rotating. Also you have to watch your fence. Even in the locked poistion I have noticed it move slightly.

Dewalt is the absolute best at designing tools that make a person glad they bought Dewalt. This table saw is so well designed, from the function of the fence system, to the storage of the accessories, and the overall quality of the table saw… and all for $329. I bought this table top unit for mainly trim work around the house. My first project was window seals, and it performed great. It did come with a blade, the store ad specified it did not. This is a great table top saw.

I gave it average. First off the bolts they pack with the stand do not fit the saw. I called Dewalt and explained and they said they would send me the proper bolts. I received a package with a bunch of useless junk. That is not the Home Depot’s fault but why are they selling a selling this as a set if they are not compatible. Very frustrated.
