I can’t get it to work. I took it back and they had me take it to the rental shop where there is a compressor and they couldn’t either. I’m going to have my brother try it and may take it back. I’ve always liked DeWalt tools and thought they were a good, reliable brand. One more try.

Works great, easy and compact. Use for hobby projects, but built for construction use.

I bought this because my old 18 gauge nailer only went up to 1 /3/8″ nails, where this will go up to 2″. I liked the no mar tip and the fact that they provide 2 extra tips is nice. I installed quarter round moulding with it and it worked great, once I adjusted to the correct nail depth. It is light weight and worked well. The only issues I have is that it doesn’t have a swivel end as show on the Home Depot display. The window for the nails is OK, I wish it was a little further back so you had a few more than 6-10 nails before you ran out. The only other point is the belt clip with the pencil sharpener was a not practical. The sharpener didn’t work and it added too much depth so the clip was not secure on my tool belt. I wish I could get a clip replacement without the sharpener.

The purchase was great however- it was delivered on my doorstep as is with no packaging other than a clear plastic wrap. Not only did my husband see his Christmas gift but so did all the neighbors.
