The features I especially liked about this pinner was its light weight, adjustable depth setting and low nail lockout. The oil free feature will help prevent stains on my projects. I was able to sink 2”pins into solid birch with this pinner. I liked the belt hook. It also worked great putting in small molding. I feel it’s a bargain at $150. Other pinners without these features go for over $200. I would highly recommend this for any woodworker or carpenter.

I purchased nailer to use with flex volt compressor because dewalt still doesn’t offer a battery operated 23g pin nailer

Works right out of the box. Great pin nailer that accepts up to 2” pins. No jams at all on fairly big crown install, where my old Stanley pin nailer jammed constantly. Drives 23 ga pins easily in all types of wood – adjust pressure for hard dense wood and use wider dia hose to drive them properly. Use test scrap to measure depth of drive. Well made nailer – good price.

I bought this pin nailer a couple months ago and have used it numerous times. This is a quality pin nailer and I am very happy with the purchase.

Very easy to adjust the depth of the nail. I really like it is tool free to remove any jams. I have not had a jam after over 1,000 different sizes of nails. Once you drive a nail it is very easy to make the hole almost invisible.Best finish nailer i have ever owned. One of the few out there that you can drive 2″ nails.

I bought this combo kit to replace an old heavy twin tank which was another brand. I love this compressor! It’s light weight, reasonably quiet and keeps good pressure. I use it mostly for my air nailers and it keeps up easily. The oil less nailers are fantastic. Love them both. I highly recommend!

It handled and nailed well. Wouldnt shoot the last 8 pins. Even if I put a new sleeve behind it. Had to remove and just put a new sleeve of nails. Also Depot should carry the 2 in pins if they are going to sell this. I am a contractor of 35 yrs. I know my guns.

Works well. easily drives pins through 3/4” birch into marine ply (and my finger once) Shot several sticks of pins so far and never jammed.

The pin nailer is quiet and light weight. Having the safety near the trigger is good because you don’t have to push into the finished piece to activate the gun. It’s great for stained or pre finished materials as the hole is very small. I wouldn’t use it for something that is holding a lot of weight. My only complaint is that it will shoot a 2″ nail but the store only sells 1 1/4 . You have to order the longer sizes on line.

DeWalt 23 gauge brad nailer DWFP235OKI have owned this headless pin/brad nailer a relatively short time and use it for commercial work. The tool is light weight at a little over 2Lbs, compact and has a natural feel to it including the secondary safety trigger. A good design and works great in tight spots. A feature is the jam release system giving full access to the jam area and easy removal of the defective brad without tools. Fortunately I have yet to experience a jam so I have not used the feature as yet other than opening it all up examining it. It looks very easy to do. The brad length range is 5/8ths to 2 inches which covers everything I use a 23 gauge nailer for. The 23 gauge load strips have 100 brads per load which is the max load for the magazine. The depth setting adjustment is easy to use and no tool is required. Using 1” staples, there is no problem with hard oak when the depth adjustment is set properly. A feature of the 23 gauge headless pins is that on a too-be painted surface with the depth correctly set, there is no real need to fill holes. Paint with color will do that just fine in most cases. Using the 23 gauge pins you run a very small chance of splitting wood when working close to edges. There is a neat warning function lock-out when the magazine is down to 8 or so brads and a small lever just above the main trigger that allows you to fire off the last few staples. There is also a small window in the magazine near the tip to check on remaining stack of brads in the strip. My son is a lefty and he uses it frequently and easily changed the belt hook over to the opposite side. A neat idea is they included a spare no-mar tip in a protected spot in the trigger guard area. The tool comes with a well built and durable blow molded carrying case with real metal snap latches and not plastic. There is space available in the case for brads and other misc. things one might keep with the tool. Overall a really nice rugged natural-feel tool and I would highly recommend it.

Great nailer. Once you dial it in for your species of media, it’ll set the nail reliably each time.

This pin nailer drives 23G fasteners with ease through all varieties and densities of wood. I really like how almost imperceptible the pin holes are. And this method really beats the old finishing nails, wood filler and sanding process. The nailer is easy to load, unload and does mar or bruise the wood surface. Highly recommend it!
