I have become more accustomed to a porter cable gun and the placement of the nails based upon the head design. II didn’t like the Dewalt placement as well as my old gun and didn’t want to take the time to get used to it. It’s a good nailer, I just didn’t like it as well as my old one.

The only other comment is that it does work better with dewalt nails versus generic which can jam on occasion. Removing the jam was very easy.

Love this gun. I’m a production finish carpenter and I’ve always used Porta cable. Been through 4 this year, seems like they get cheaper and cheaper made. So far this gun is precise and hasn’t jammed. Just wish it held more nails. I recently ordered the 20v max cordless 16gauge gun too. We shall see

The air tank maintains the pressure we need to use the finish nailer. The hose has rubber in it and does not coil back like plastic hoses. The nail and brad gun are perfect for our frequent use.
