While I like that this knife quickly and easily exchanges new blades and locks open when in use the size of this knife when folded in half is quite large and doesnt want to stay in the shut position. This knife has a clip to keep in or out of your pocket but when in your pocket it takes up a great deal of space and when clipped outside of your pocket it falls to the open position. Dont waste your money buy one of the Milwakee tool knives for the same price.

This is my longet going utility knife i have. I’ve used it in a professional level for many years. It looks like is been througha was but its been great! The only thing i ever has to do was lock tight all the screws and bend the clip back a few times.

Only issue is the slide button is made of flimsy plastic. Feels like that will be the part that snaps in 4 months to 8 months.

Well made little knife works great, easy to carry and to use.

Ok, I purchased the non-autoload version a number of years ago based on a review on some sort of tool junkie site. I use it constantly, it folds nicely and fits in that odd right side jean mini pocket. it works well and always has an extra blade. I had a problem switching blades at first, but sat with it for a few minutes and found that I just wast pressing the button hard enough. I misplaced it for a few days and upgraded to the auto load version which seemed to remove the “seldom used by me” wire stripper feature for an auto load feature and made with a different combination of molded and stamped steel. I love the auto load, but kinda miss the compactness of my old faithful, but the auto load allows for three in storage and one in the chamber, the release is much easier, and still supports multiple retraction positions which I use a lot to open boxes without damaging the contents. I found my old one, now I’m conflicted as to which to carry, but the autoload wins out for me, so I am going to drop a 5 for it with this same review.

this is the best knife I’ve found

I love this knife, especially the automatic blade placement. It’s a little on the expensive side but it’s worth every dime. You get what you pay for.

I was sold on the auto loading part, but this knife has proven itself in sturdiness and versatility over and over. It holds 3 blades in the chamber and one ready to use. There is a little button to remove the current blade to swap sides or remove for the next blade. Remove the blade, slide the lock all the way back and then back out and a brand new blade comes out! This is also one of the most narrow-framed knives I’ve seen, maing it very easy to fit in tight spaces or run parallel to a surface without having to angle the knife. i had also found the tip of the knife housing has been usefull in light prying such as opening paint cans, popping small trim loose. Truely the only knife I don’t go anywhere without

I wanted a good functional knife that folded, was heavy-duty and had replaceable blades. I got it!
Shyanne White (verified owner) –
Probably works really well but it doesnt fold compact as much as expected. Heavy duty factor isn’t worth it being that much bulkier. Other ones are just as strong and more compact

I like that you can flip open or close and still be able to retract blade. I like to keep it open and blade retracted when in my side pocket while working, it makes it easier to get out when I have my gloves on.
