While DeWalt usually makes quality items, and these are fine, I wouldn’t have purchased these if I had known they were made in China first. DeWalt should know better!

I am very pleased with the quality of these chisels. They were definitely sharp enough for construction work right out of the package. The handles are very sturdy and they have nice large metal butts to protect them from hammer strikes. They also come with very nice protective covers that grab the shank (not just the tip) so that they don’t slide off in your tool bag. As usual, Dewalt did it right, these are great. I would definitely recommend them.

These chisels have a nice weight and feel to them. Feel very comfortable in my hands with a large rubber grip. Well balanced. Each chisel comes with a hard plastic protective enclosure that easily snaps into place. The blade of each chisel is very sharp and can be used for side cutting, serrated cutting or as a standard wood chisel. The cutting edge on the side of the chisel can double as a scraper. Each chisel has a steel strike cap for durability. The 3 sizes are 3/4in., 1in., 1-1/4in. Also comes with a lifetime warranty
