I’ve been using this set for a few weeks now and have to say they are really nice to use. Good weight and balance and a superb grip. The metal end is a nice touch, so the handles don’t get battered by hammers.Traditionalists may prefer the wooded handles but I prefer the modern grips and these don’t disappoint.Out of the ‘box’ they are sharp and ready to use. Some people prefer the two bevel blade, that is something of debate among carpenters and fine wood workers, so if you want a dual bevel blade – look elsewhere.Some might also argue that a pouch or roll would be an advantage to keep them together, maybe something to add or offer Dewalt? For me, I’m happy to simply put them in my tool bag.Overall, a good selection on sizes and superb grips!

I like the handles to hold if you need to use a mallet to remove some meat from a hardwood board. The steel tang running all the way from tip to tip is a plus.

chisels were sharp but they did not cut cleanly very rough on the edges , still had the residue on edges from the factory sharpening had to do lots of sharpening to get them to cut cleanly marple chisels are very better quality

All three of the chisels I received were not sharp at all. I would describe them as blunt. It took quite a while for me to get them sharp enough for use. Be prepared to do some work to get them sharp.
