Decently sharp from factory. A little honing and these become really sharp. Don’t expect an extremely high grade of fine woodworking chisels, but overall for the price this is an exceptional set.

This is a great set to use , I have put this set thru a tough test i am actually impressed on how durable this set is , I have used wood chisel sets in my career of 35yrs as a Maintenance Contractor , and Woodworker and find that i like this set so far to be the best , it holds its sharpness , its feels comfortable when your using them , and the price is reasonable . The size is really nice because of the extra leverage the leangth of the tool gives you. I noticed that after heavy use the edge had some light rolling burrs but no chips. Easy too sharpen. Seams hardy

These chisels work very well. I’ve used them on several projects, and they are sharp from the factory, sturdy, and have a good weight to them. I got a couple extras free with the set, which is even better. I ran into a couple of nails on a door frame I was working on, which ruined the edge on the largest chisel. Sharpening shouldn’t be a problem but I haven’t undertaken it yet.
