Description

The new DEWALT hand saws, with their flexible blades, slide into places power saws will not reach such as when cutting dowels, drywall, shims, trim, molding, and more. The saw blades are also heat-induction treated for long blade life. The DWHT20216 features a flexible blade for easy, flush cuts.

14 tpi on one side of the saw for fine-finish smooth cuts and 7 tpi for quicker, coarse cuts on the other side of the saw

I bought this saw for doing flush cuts. However the teeth are bent out on both sides so it’s not suitable for flush cutting dowels without some sort of shim on the surface. If you plan to use this to flush cut door trim at floor level you would normally use a thin piece of wood on the floor so it will work there. For all other work this is handy little saw to fold up an put in your tool box. Be sure to wrap it in an old t-shirt to protect the teeth.

I actually bought this pull saw to cut baseboards when I was installing a vanity in a bathroom. It did a great job on that project.I have since used this saw on multiple woodworking projects to trim dowel rods to be flush with the surface of the wood I was working with. The handle is comfortable and the cut is clean!I would highly recommend this saw to anyone in need of a trim saw!
