This 35 ft. premium tape is ideal for heavy-duty framing and other construction measuring tasks. This tape has been put to the test and features a reinforced housing and cast metal impact plate to absorb shock when dropped. It also includes extensive rubber over-molding for improved grip.

I’m using this tape several times per day. It’s lasting only about 5-6 weeks. Later on the metal tape is getting “flimsy” and typically starts chipping on sides. Stanley is more durable, however 16ft “free stand” is what I need.

I grabbed this off the shelf to measure some insulation thicknesses – rather than put it back I decided to buy it. It’s an excellent tape measure that will extend around 10 feet or so without support. Numbers are also easy to read and it has a magnet in the end that comes in very handy!
