I use this hammer almost every day and in every job assignment I work . It has gotten the job for me . I took one swing to a small safe and it took the lock off . I am happy to be a proud owner of this great hammer made in history

I have been in the industry for many years and have purchased a number of hammers, trying to find the one that fits both my budget and needs in the field. This is it! I purchased my first one about 3 years ago and am looking to replace it just now. The only fault I can find is that it would be great to have the 14oz. with a milled face and not the checkered head. I have to grind the head smooth because I use it for all phases of construction from framing to finish. You just can’t beat it.

Swings well, but without the weight, it just doesnt connect like I’d hoped. Also the claw is shallow compared to most hammer heads

Even though this hammer feels light, it is very well balanced and strikes like a much heavier hammer. Thanks Home Depot and DeWalt.

Good hammer. I bought it to replace my 40 year old Estwing 22 oz. hammer. The grip is a good shape and allows me to hold the hammer without slipping. The lighter weight is nice for an “old man”. I do not use a hammer on a daily basis, so cannot say that it drives nails as well as the 22 oz. hammer, however it is much easier to use and is sufficient for the work I do.
