I guess it’s the way it’s weighted and it’s grip but it doesn’t feel like a 20oz hammer. Little to no sting and non slip grip. Classy style, keep getting asked where I got it. Yea, I know it’s only a hammer but why not do it in style.

This is a very well balanced, easy to swing hammer. It has an excellent design with 3 spots to pull nails. It also has a magnetic nail holder for starting nails. This works very well and is very handy. I believe the rubber grip makes it easy to hold and swing. It may get dirty like mentioned somewhere but if you’re worried about that wear gloves. I believe the price is right in line with other top quality hammers.

This 20 oz steel hammer was very easy to use and felt comfortable when swinging. I like the flat striking head because it gives you a broader surface for contact. I found it easy to use the nail pulling features on top with ease, very little to none noticeable damage to wood. The nail holding feature on the top of the hammer works like a charm. I would highly recommend this product for purchase.

I also love the way this hammer looks. Nice and sleek. Not cheaply built. This bad boy is well balanced and is going to last me a long time!

As framing hammer’s go, it’s a hammer. Balanced nicely, magnet works, plenty stiff, not too heavy. Not anything different then the other hammers we have strew about the shop. It may sound silly, and I am sure that the color will degrade with time, but the yellow handle is silly awesome. I dropped the hammer down into a wall cavity, inadvertently, and honestly if not for the yellow handle there is no way I could have seen it and dragged it back out to daylight,

I have used a DeWalt hammer for the first time and it’s great I feel like it will be better if they added a fiber glass handle

I got this hammer a month or so ago and have nothing but amazing things to say about it! It feels like a smoother swing than any other 20os I have swung which is a huge plus when on the job 8+ hours a day. It’s extremely useful with the side nail pullers on the head. You never realize how much you needed to have that until you have this hammer. The fact that they put a finish nail puller AND a framing nail puller on there is fantastic in and of itself, but then they spaced them out just right to be able to pull staples too! So useful! I bought this hammer hoping to be my lifelong hammer and it is definitely not disappointing!!!

Excellent features. Well balanced. Handle needs to be a little larger in diameter.

Since I got this new hammer I have used it everyday for numerous applications. There is a considerable notice in the amount of engery the hammer doesn’t allow back into your hand and arm. Lot less fatigue while using this hammer. For a 20oz hammer it sure has enough power for most jobs. Great hammer for all day or long jobs!! Nice add features are the 2 side nail pullers.

Nice handle , like the side puller features l. The nail setter, needs a little work for shorter nails.

A great hammer. Feels well balanced. The magnet and tri-pull technology they’ve incorporated on the design is clever and very handy. The hammer itself looks awesome with the black powder coating and yellow rubber grip mould. I’ve had a few hammers over the years and recently I had an Estwing and a Milwaukee, but this dewalt takes the cake! I would highly recommend this hammer if your looks ng for a good 1. Value for money I reckon!

Used it for the last couple weeks along side a 16oz version of the same hammer. Both smooth faced. I would like the waffle face on this one and leave the 16oz for the smooth work. Great feel great strike! Hits like the 22oz I have from another brand. Normally steel hammers for me go to the demo/rough work but I feel comfortable about using this one for more. Not a fan of the grip, it’s getting better as I use it but it started out feeling slippery. Probably will last a very long time.

While this 20 oz hammer has all the superb features of the 16 oz model (of which I love :), this one is ideal for larger projects when added length and weight matter. The one distinct difference though, and a nifty little feature to boot, is the magnetic nail starter/holder notch embedded into the top of the hammer’s non-round head. That alone is worth the price of admission, but as a framing hammer and a good solid tool for ripping through walls or pulling things apart, this baby is just right. I especially like the way the claw portion of the hammer is flatter and straighter than most, which in turn makes getting beneath things much, much easier. All told: it’s built like a tank and virtually indestructible. If you like something that can take a beating and last a lifetime, this hammer is for you.

I really like this Hammer. The grip is very comfortable for my hand and after using a 20 oz hammer all day my hand and arm are not sore. I think the best feature that I like is the nail puller that is on the side of the hammer. The side nail puller also has two sizes which is another great idea because every item that I pull is always different sizes. Sometimes its hard to remove a nail in tight areas and with the nail puller on the side it can get into tight places. The second great feature is the improved grip which reduces the fatigue on my arm. Head is balanced for hitting nails or tapping on wood and the grip is easy to hang onto even if hands are dirty. Overall a great design for a hammer.
