My wife and I have been very happy with DeWalt brand tools in the past and this 20-oz. steel campers axe is no exception. The 11-3/4 in. ergonomically designed handle fits well in the palm of your hand and minimizes the amount of vibration felt after striking an object. Also, the scalloped edges make the blade easier to remove after striking a piece of wood. The blade is very sharp and comes with a plastic sheath to protect this edge. We expect this axe to provide many years of service during camping and general use around our home as needed. See attached photographs, which include instructing grandsons on the care and handling of the axe. Well done DeWalt!
