The locking ability is great. Good for flat open spaces, but it is too bulky for turning in areas a little wider than your fist, where individual hex wrenches or bits will work better. A unique and better design might incorporate a removable key system in addition to the locking system.

I bought the product but could not use it for the task at hand. You cannot tell from picture but the product is about 2 inches wide. The space I was working in did not allow for me to rotate the unit to tighten the fixture (it was a shower door handle). I tried all of the locking positions. Also, since the pull out wrenches are standard size, I physically could not even get the wrench into the socket.The size is so bulky, that I thought this might be a problem while at the Home Depot, and bought a set of “Extended Length” Husky Hex Keys (individually detachable from a plastic holder) and those did the trick.Regarding quality, the DeWalt seems very well built. Just sorry I couldn’t use it.
