Hex key sets both metric and SAE have a unique locking mechanism that locks the allen’s into a 90° 45° Angle as well as straight So I decided to give them a try They are a bit bulky and would recommend them if you had the adequate space versus single piece Allen’s

Fine product but from my use; I’d suggest the locking buttons be changed to the other side. It seems to me that the buttons are for a left handed person. The sizes are a little temperamental and so I bought both the standard and metric tools to get the exact fit to avoid rounding out the hex. The are a good tool for the DYI person; yet, I don’t think there’s enough choices for the professional.

The Dewalt locking key set is sturdily built and has a good assortment of hex key sizes. I really like the locking feature. One drawback is that, because of the hex key lengths, it sometimes cannot be used in tight cleaance applications, requiring me to carry an extra set of hex keys.
