I bought these pliers not ever having used push lock pliers before. The concept was great as my other pliers kept slipping and I always was having to tighten the nut on the back. After just a few uses I can already tell these pliers are way better than the h.d. brand I had been using for so long. Now I only buy dewalt brand hand tools. They are cheaper than the high end tools and just a few dollars more than the h.d. brand tools. For the price is perfect it’s like getting a bargain on a high end tool.

Locking jaws works good. Grip at handles is too much wide (even for my XL palm size), so it’s hard to hold pliers strong

I don’t like the fact that it is a laminated tool and rivited together handle.

I loved these pliers at first. But after a couple of years of moderate use they will not work without the jaws slipping open when you try to squeeze down on the handles. The little teeth are just worn. They come with a lifetime guarantee but you have to mail them back to Dewalt with the original receipt which is m.i.a. I bought a similar pliers made by Irwin that looks like the sliding mechanism is more robust.
