I purchased these pliers specifically for creating wire fencing around our backyard garden. The mechanical advantage from the “Compounding” cuts the wire like warm butter and the spring open feature allows me to use them while wearing gloves so no need to fumble to open and close.

I am usually a Craftsman Tool Guy, but after buy these, I will only buy DeWalt Pliers, Cutters, and Snips, the quality is far better than Craftsman to say the least. These Diagonal Pliers give far more leverage to make cutting easier on thinker items and the locking feature is awesome !!
