The compound action allows me to easily crimp wire spices and other attachments. These pliers also have a good grip on the nose side allowing easy holding of small objects.The locking mechanism to hold them shut during storage is a little odd and difficult to use single handed. Perhaps it will move easier as it ages. Have had product for a little over a week and use at least once on most days.
