I had owned one of the larger ones previously, and when I saw the combo pack online for this price, I was hooked.However, when they arrived, they turned out to be much thinner than the original one I had. Looking in the store, they sell individual units that are the original thickness, so that is still an option, but the thinner set is a disappointment. The point of the specific purchase was for the slide-lock feature, which is why I will keep them, but heavier would have been better. I didn’t know thickness was a variable.

I use these pliers for tightening cable grips on control panels and electrical components. They work better than anything else I have used. I used a similar pair that cost much more and researched the market to find something similar for less money. These pliers are every bit as good and I got a pair for a great price. I just wish they were available in the stores. I would have found them hanging on the rack and bought them on site.
