I have a door frame that has dry rotted and needs replaced. I have a friend that is going to help me when he gets time. What I needed was a clamp that would hold the new frame in place while it is shimmed to fit. This will clamp and spread, just change the fixed end to the other end of the bar. Easily done because there is a button to release and then hold to the other end.Use the trigger lever (grey) to adjust the big distance and the black lever one to adjust the smaller distance to fit exactly.

A lot of clamping force, exceeded my expectations

Excellent quality. Works like a charm. It took me awhile to learn how to use it due to the size. But it works so good now.

I love these clamps. They have good clamping strength. The clamps also have nice size pads. I would recommend these clamps.

My initial use for these was to snug up pine boards I was using to build a barn door for our home. Worked very well for this.

I have had the clamp for a short time and it helped me to do a number of small, around-the-house projects. I find it lighter than a pipe clamp for laminating boards (tabletops, gates, etc) so it is much easier to position. I also like the trigger clamp as it provides a means of straight, inline clamping thus reducing the possibility of torqueing the clamp and messing up the project. So far, it has met all I expected it to do and would recommend it to anyone looking for good alternative to pipe clamps. (they have their definite uses)

Good holding power, strong. Only thing I don’t like is they pop when you release them. To be expected with the rubber grips. They are delicate enough to not damage the material you are working with no matter how hard you clamp them. Great for cabinets and for clamping granite to an A frame

Should be stocked in stores. Still, worth the wait. Versatile tool, multiple ways to utilize. Clamping force is excellent without crushing the work.

Love these clamps for building furniture

As a clamp they are pretty good, as a spreader, the bar isn’t thick enough, and the mechanism is a bit off balance, which means you pretty much have to lay them on the floor as they won’t stay leaning against a wall.I needed a spreader to put the shiplap back onto the walls of my fixer upper, so my mileage might be different than others. At the end I know I will be able to use them as decent clamps, but the off balance part I find irritating.

I needed to clamp things together that were a distance and needed more than two hands and these fit the bill. Easy to use.

I have had these clamps for all of one month but I am really impressed so far. The durability is great and the tension that these can hold is high. I grew up using old school screw and locking clamps that took longer to fit into place but these really quickly go into position and hold tight. I went for the longest clamps and bought 4 as I knew these would last for a while. I’ll be checking in over the years to give updates and I will let everyone know how they hold up. If you care, I am an above average “amateur” woodworking and have done large scale projects for over a decade. My credentials are reasonable.Good luck, my fellow amateurs.
