I haven’t used these much, but my initial impression is that Quikgrip clamps are better, or at least feel more sturdy. I do like the fact the Dewalt clamps are reversible, and can be quickly changed to a spreader configuration. I would also like to see larger faces on the jaws.

These are awesome, butt simple to use one handed, and they hold very well. Note: be careful when using them for welding, it’s easy to forget that the feet are plastic and the heat does bad things to them. I use them for everything as an extra hand when working alone. Other than the heat issue they are very durable.I just wish they were a little less expensive, I have 35 of them of various sizes and that was quite an investment.
