Nice strong clamp, handle is fairly ergonomic,works as expected. Could benefit from a 3/8 square socket at the end of the handle so you could use a socket extension to reach it in tight spots, but that would be any bar clamp.

This clamp has a nice grip to the handle/knob, but when cranked down, it would almost always come out of the rubber boot. This would make it necessary to reset the clamp. I just took all the boots off, and only consider using them when I feel it necessary.

Great Clamping Strength – excellent handle for gripping, better than Bessey. Moving jaw does not slip. About half of screws were not parallel to bar causing slight misalignment of clamp faces.

The plastic protective sleeve on the fixed end falls off every time I use it. I finally glued it on with some Lexel. If it hadn’t been for this little issue I would have given it a 5 star rating. I will purchase another one.

I was working on a project when this DeWalt 12″ heavy duty clamp arrived and my wife brought it into my workshop. It was used to clamp 3/8″ sheeting to a frame. Normally I use a smaller clamp, but I was excited to try out my new clamp! lol … This is a heavy duty clamp with a 3 1/4″ throught.It has a clamping force of 1,000 lbs. and is very user friendly. The pads on the clamp head are 1 1/4″ x 1 1/2″ and the spindle is padded so the wood is protected. The handle is large and fits the hand well,and easy to grip. The slide of the clamp is heavy and does not flex when put under pressure. This is one of the very best clamps I have used and would highly recommend this to home owners or contractors.
