The Dewalt 36” bar clamp is heavy duty and easy to use. While I didn’t see it listed in the product specification on HD’s website, the clamp weighs in at five pounds. The quick adjustment trigger allows you to slide the clamp for large adjustments and then fine tune the torque with the twist knob. All things considered this is a nice clamp and one I’m happy to add to my collection, though if I were to buy one this size again, I’d probably choose a trigger clamp style instead.

The clamp looks really cool with the bright yellow and black color. It is pretty heavy, though not too heavy, so I think it is pretty solidly made. It will extend to a little over 36”. It has a clutch so you can easily slide the adjustable head to where you need it before you tighten it. It is rated to clamp up to 1,000 lbs. which is pretty impressive. It has a limited lifetime warranty which is good.

This is an extremely strong/sturdy/robust clamp at a very fair price! I would definitely recommend this product. The bar is extremely solid. Its thicker and stiffer than the rest of the bar style clamps in my shop. This is relfected in the 1000 lb clamp force, compared to 600 lbs for most clamps in the class. Add in a lifetime warranty, and how can you go wrong?

Nice clamp. Easy to use, easy to store and easy to clean up. I have used several sizes of the DeWalt Bar Clams for various projects and the smaller ones do an excellent job. But like most clamps, the larger they get and the farther you open the clamp, the more they have a tendency to bend unless they use “round tube construction.” But for the money, this clamp is great!

I purchased these because I need additional long clamps, plus you can never have too many clamps. I have used them quite a few times for larger projects, and it has proven to be a good decision to purchase them. They are easy to adjust quickly to the length you need with the sliding jaw, and the jaw crank is smooth so you can tighten it to the necessary force easily.
