This is a very good medium duty bar clamp. What I like most about this clamp is the 36 inch length and the two piece clutch lock which makes it very easy to adjust the clamp. The screw handle has a nice feel to it when applying pressure. This clamp is rate to produce 600 pounds of pressure when you crank it down. I do a lot of small and medium furniture making and you can never have enough clamps. This is a very good clamp that is very easy to use and adjust.

I needed longer clamps for a workbench I’m building. I settled on the Dewalt 36″ bar clamp. They are excellent clamps and of the quality I expected from the Dewalt brand. I will definitely be buying more, in different sizes, as I progress in woodworking.

These clamps are easy to use and conveniant. However, they are not extremely strong and the bars bend somewhat easily. I recently got this clamp to help with my table build and quickly found out that pipe clamps work better. Dewalt sells a pipe clamp kit that is cheaper, but you need to buy a pipe still. Pipe clamps work a lot better and are stronger.

The clutch is easy to use, compared to other cheap clamps I have. The sliding arm moves up and down easily and stays put. There’s a bit of a bow in the bar, but I have honestly yet to own a longer sized clamp that doesn’t have a bow to it. The metal, however, is thick and solid. I’ve used it to clamp larger pieces and have not had any issues. The handle is a good size and allows you to get a good grip. Good weight to it overall and easy to handle.

I have been clamping boards together to make cabinet doors. This product keeps the pieces together tightly without much give. I am extremely satisfied with this product and have been needing this for quite some time with the woodwork I do.

Nice, wide light-weight clamp. It’s easy to operate, to store and to clean. This would be a perfect clamp for DIY jobs around the house. It has it limitations though. Once you apply more pressure than what it was designed for, the bar starts to bend slightly and the clamp can snap off. For heavy-duty clamping, I would recommend a clamp with a round (tubular) bar because they just don’t seem to bend. This is still a great clamp and a great price.

Good medium duty clamp. They are medium duty so they will bow a little when you really clamp down but they are well made.
