I love these clamps. Yesthey are big and yes they have some weight to them, but that’s the reason they are so sturdy. Cheaper clamps oftentimes quicklystart to flex when you start putting pressure on them, not these. The handle relase mechanism is also nice and easy to use. My opinion is that these are worth what i paid for them. The free shipping was a bonus and in my case super fast
