I’ve had several Dewalt bar clams and I bought this to help with building furniture. I’m glad I did as it makes my life easier. It also has the great Dewalt Quality we have become used to expecting!

This clamp is pretty useful for holding workpieces tightly at right angles during assembly. I know I’ve been in plenty of situations where I wished I had a third hand, and this not only offers a solution, but it keeps two pieces at near-perfect right angles. It’s a little heavy, but makes up for any clunkiness with how sturdy it is. The handle is comfortable to turn, and the jaws are self-aligning. I measured this with a square and a digital angle gauge and found it to be 0.1-0.2° out of square, but for the length of the jaws I don’t think it will make a huge difference. The throat capacity tops out at 2″, so it should be useable for face frames. I wish it had a slightly larger capacity, and that they hadn’t sacrificed the threads on the very end of the clamp in order attach a hanging hole to have a convenient way to display the product in the store.

DEWALT 90° Angle Clamp is one of the better designs available for these clamps. Its of heavy duty construction, the body is a metal casting with a metal screw and a solidly done rubber covered handle. The screw thread goes into a polypropylene housing and is rated at 250 pounds of force that’s plenty, but I’d be careful to only hand and not way over tighten it. The screw pivots in the body so two dissimilar board thicknesses can be accommodated in the join. The clamp has four holes on the bottom and comes with two small clamps to attach it to the workbench in either direction, if needed. It can also be used on cabinets or boxes in place without the workbench clamps. For cabinets and bookcases its capable of clamping both right angle joins as well as T-joins. The clamp is fully adjustable with a two inch throat and mentioned pivot-able screw to accommodate different board sizes. Since the clamp design is open ended it can handle any size board length. I checked this clamp out by attaching it to my workbench and tried different length boards and different thicknesses with good results.. The clamping action is excellent and hold’s solidly with no play after its tightened down. The two small workbench clamps did a fine job keeping everything from moving around and it all felt secure. I think this is a great clamp for its intended purpose and the two inch throat is a good size for most uses.

Best right angle clamps I have ever used. The clamps work !.Small box right angles are difficult but only because the clamps are too large.I was able to glue the boxes together using only two clamps at a time.I have only had the clamps about a month. The pieces sort of self align in place making glue up a snap.

I don’t know, you ever look at something in a pic and think “that’s awesome” but in the real world just don’t like it? These are that thought. They are bulky and hard to use with one hand. I say this cause your other hand is holding whatever to line it up. If we had 3 arms I’d give this 5 stars but my 2 arm self can’t go above 3…

All metal body with a nice rubberized handle for a good firm grip. Thick coat of paint and clamps down firmly. Performs as described. Good value.

Great product from the view of an active DIYer Quick Review: This clamped worked well for my projects. Held my work pieces together and straight ( I used 2 -2x lumber) More In depth review: I used this clamp on 2 pieces of 2×12 lumber. At first I felt that the clamps were too obtrusive, the large body made it difficult to get to the work piece to screw it in. I am used to the other types of corner clamps, with a much more leaner structure. Once I realize that the large body was a help and not a hindrance, I truly appreciated the clamp. Look at the picture for a better understanding. If you are clamping two pieces with the same thickness, all you have to do is screw in between the clamps, this allows you to accurate gauge where the center is to ensure a proper fit. The grip to loosen and tighten it is very comfortable and feels like a screwdriver. This comes with a black plastic spacer, which I will use for other projects as a spacer, like for decks and etc.Table Clamps:The table clamps worked well, properly securing the clamp to my table. You can clamp the clamp to your table from one of two ways.

This is a great clamp for assembling picture frames and face frames. It does a good job of holding the pieces square. For clamping face frames, there are through slots that will handle wood up to 1-1/4″ This is wide enough for most face frames. The bench-top clamps are handy for keeping the clamp from tipping over ore moving when clamping longer pieces. You will still want to use a spacer on the other ends, but the clamp is not going to move when doing fine adjustments, or using a pin nailer. In a pinch, you could use two of these for holding the sides of a box square while screwing then together.
