Very good quality. I’ve gone through over a thousand staples with only a couple of jams

It cost a little more then the other brands but it has a lifetime warranty. I use a my stapler quite a bit installing insulation, house wrap or putting up dust barriers during home remodeling, and I need a dependable tool for the job. It weighs a little more than my old stapler but this seems to be built to last. The handle has a good feel and the overall balance is good.

Bought a cheaper stapler and it jammed after a couple hits. Bought the Dewalt and it has performed great. You do have to swing it pretty hard.

This is a solid tacker, no complaints. Drives staples in 99% of the time. You’ve got to swing it perhaps a bit harder than other tackers I’ve used to get the staple in, but it’s got a smartly designed head that doesn’t break through the materials I use. (I’m a roofer).Another nice thing is it’s large front end and thin handle, which means you can easily slip it into a hammer loop on your tool belt.My only complains is that if you kneel down with the tacker in your hammer loop and the tacker hits the ground, sometimes the slide that holds the staples in will slide out and you’ll lose some staples, but the slide itself is built right into the tacker, so you won’t be losing 100 of those.I easily recommend this product.

This stapler fell from the roof just like the two before it and it didn’t need to be replaced. The other two cost more also.

I have a lot of Dewalt tools and all of them have lived up to their name. Loads easily and have had no misfires.

Very good product worked great with roof repair and etc.

Drives staples well, long enough to get a good swing without a big effort. Has not jammed so far but spring slide latch can easily be released unintentionally, dumps staples. Holds more staples than my old unit if it would only stay shut.

My concern initially was that it was being used in an area where swinging it to tack plastic to wooden frames was limited because of space. It actually worked quite well without too much effort. The durability is good and it works well when the user has more room as well. Good quality!

Good

It is a little heavy on the top, but it is expected. Using it was easy, but it would have been nice to have the staples already in it instead had to purchase those separately.

Have not used this tool give it a better rating at this time. I chose this brand because it is a reliable brand that I have used before and prefer

This Tack Hammer is excellent for all conditions, best of all it has not shown any rust.

easy to load, easy to swing. Way better than the arrow brand, worth the extra money.

We use these tackers on a daily basis. I have purchased different brands before and they would last a few months. The Dewalts I have purchased are over a year old now and still going strong.

I used it to tack on the moisture barrier that goes under siding. No jams or issues. Not every staple sinks in fully. Could have been my technique. I smashed my knuckles a time or two… definitely bad swinging techniques there. Overall it’s a good tool. I noticed the workers at my local lumber yard use the exact same hammer/stapler so it must be reliable.

Way better then the $20 other one that kept on jamming. I got money to make. Ain’t nobody got time for dat.
Ashleigh Marvin (verified owner) –
Not as good as I would have thought it would be.
