My dad bough this stapler couple years ago and we have used it to do fencing for dogs with 14mm staples worked pretty good stapling to 4×4 pieces of wood and have used it for doing roof insulation stapling to 2x6s works and gets job done

A lot of the low-star reviews I read before buying was the complaint that it mis-fired majority of the time. This is false. At first it misfired A LOT when using T50 staples and I was pretty frustrated but it turned out I had the the staple setting wrong. It isn’t clearly marked on the tool which isn’t a big deal but once that was corrected I never misfired once with T50’s or T25’s. I docked 1 star because the staple type setting is a little stiff to move (I think because it is new) and the crown staples sink a little further than I would like. This stapler feels good to hold and the squeeze trigger is smooth. I was worried DeWalt was going to fail me but not this time!
