Good product but the shipping was very poor. Someone put this little socket set in a very large box with no padding or any paper at all. The socket set just bounced around a huge box. Very poor packing.

I bought this set a little over a year ago and I only use it around the house. the ratchet has always had a problem switching. But I had been able to make it work. It finally stopped working altogether. No ratcheting forward or backward. Seems like such a simple thing. I tried reaching out to Dewalt, tried walking through their service site. still nothing. I finally decided to get a Husky set since Home depot has a walk-in replacement policy for their warranty. much better, usable for their customers. A lifetime, hassle-free warranty is no good to the customer if they are unavailable and unresponsive. I guess they never clarified who it was hassle-free for. 😉

Excellent quality tool. Nice case. My only suggestion would be to include another ratchet driver, much smaller, to drive the little sockets so we don’t shear off the small bolts by over tightening with the larger handled driver. Of course, that would increase the price. But, I had to buy a second driver anyway.

I needed a socket and ratchet to change a lawn mower blade…..I have a shed full of tools galore, but never had occasion for this before! Didn’t want to spend a fortune, and know Dewalt is a good brand. Found this very nice set at Home Depot, had it shipped as I live 60 miles from the nearest one . Shipping was less than cost of gas would be,( plus the virus stay -at -home orders.). Worked great for my blade replacement caper. Very happy with my purchase!
