I bought this set a little over a year ago and I only use it around the house. the ratchet has always had a problem switching. But I had been able to make it work. It finally stopped working altogether. No ratcheting forward or backward. Seems like such a simple thing. I tried reaching out to Dewalt, tried walking through their service site. still nothing. I finally decided to get a Husky set since Home depot has a walk-in replacement policy for their warranty. much better, usable for their customers. A lifetime, hassle-free warranty is no good to the customer if they are unavailable and unresponsive. I guess they never clarified who it was hassle-free for. 😉

Good product but the shipping was very poor. Someone put this little socket set in a very large box with no padding or any paper at all. The socket set just bounced around a huge box. Very poor packing.

I needed a spark plug socket so I could tune-up the lawnmower and it has also been on my mind lately to get some extensions for future jobs. Well it turned out to be a no brainer to purchase this set which gave me everything I needed and more plus it came in a nice little carry case. Another deciding factor was that Dewalt has pretty high quality tools and this set came with a lifetime warranty. I inspected all the pieces and everything had straight lines and a heavy quality build. I would definitely recommend this set to anybody.

This is a very nice socket set. The quick release button is easy to use when swapping sockets. Note the tray inside is not attached to the outer shell so it may fall out accidentally if you move the set by the tray instead of gripping the exterior. One minor issues is that while I usually estimate what socket I need it would’ve been nice for the socket sizes to be more clearly labeled in the holder.
