The 1/2 inch Drive Combination Socket set with Case (23 piece) from DeWalt is a very good set and the case is so good as it keeps everything in its own little dedicated space and is guaranteed forever by DeWalt. It seems to be very durable and hopefully will never fail me so that I don’t have to worry about the lifetime warranty. I purchased it on sale when it was advertised on Home Depot’s Special Buy of the Day and had a considerable savings. I’d recommend this product if you need a 1/2 inch socket set. The case also is able to be “stacked” with other DeWalt sets so that is convenient also.

As soon as I received this tool set, I put it to use. This set was purchased to compliment a previous set of smaller 3/8 inch dewalt set. I like the fact that it piggybacks and I now have the larger 1/2 inch sockets. Smooth operation of ratchet and feels solidly built.

Amazing tool set. The ratchet feels really well built and sturdy. Prior to purchasing this, I was cheap and bought a small ratchet set that was only 9 dollars. The small ratchet is about 1/3 of this size and did not have enough power to remove the oil drain bolt on my car. This Dewalt allowed me to easily remove the oil drain bolt. In addition, it comes with a nice toolbox that can attach to other similar Dewalt toolbox. Learn from my mistake, don’t cheap out on tools.

Well made and heavily built. The ratchet operation is smooth and works well. Comes in a nice case and secures well when closed. If I could change anything about the kit I would have added a universal (swivel) instead of the quick release drive it coms with.That is a minor thing though. Would definitely recommend it if your looking for a Half Inch drive set.

Heavy duty, quality tool. Just what you would expect from DeWalt. I would give the tool itself 5 Stars. I gave 4 stars overall because of the Snaps that hold the plastic lid shut. They are very sturdy (for plastic) I just hope over time and repeated use, they don’t fail. Very Satisfied!
