   I bought these for my son and for my daughter . I previously bought them both a set of tools but the sets did not include 1/2 in drive deep sockets. This set has a really nice finish on the sockets and it comes in a nice case to keep them organized. On the drive side of the socket, the beveling is normal. What I mean is, it’s like most brands of sockets. The socket has more contact with the tang on your ratchet; much more than with Husky sockets. If you have Husky sockets, you know what I mean. The beveling on the back of Husky sockets is pretty extreme and result in the socket not having much contact with the drive tang of a ratchet. Bottom line, these Dewalt sockets are really nice and a great price too. Buy them. They won’t disappoint you.

   6point deep metric sockets are not a commonCombination. Most 1/2 deep sockets available are 12point .I prefer 6point as I work on older cars less problem with rounding heads of bolts and nuts.The sockets are stout and haveHeld up to torque from a breaker bar.iwouldn’tUse an impact on them but that’s not a good practice anyway. They appear to be as good as the more expensive hardware store brandsand much better than the cheaper store brands.

   These sockets are 6 sided. They are stronger than the 12 sided sockets. The plastic case is an excellent box to store the sockets.

   A good set of 6-point deep metric sockets in 1/2″ drive. Comes with a case to hold the sockets, where you can remove the inner liner and use it for something else. Has 10 sockets from 13 to 24 mm, except missing 20 and 23 mm (rarely used). Not having a couple sizes drives some people nuts even if you know you will never use them! You can buy the missing sizes separately at a much higher price per socket, along with 10, 11, 12, 27, 28, and 30 mm. Maybe make this set bigger for slightly more money. (This review was reduced by one star because of the two missing sizes; a set like this should be more complete.)

   This ten piece Dewalt 1/2 in. drive keep socket set is great for all kinds of projects where a socket is needed. They have a thick, durable wall which shows how good of quality they are but it does make getting them into some tight places a little more difficult. Overall, this socket set is a great addition to any tool box and is sure to come in handy often and last a long time.

   The socket-set itselfiytself is excellent, but I actually purchased four separate sets, all 1/2 inch, standard and metric, deep and standard length, all 6 point. I purchased them because of the storage system. The stackable cases make it easy to find the size you need and return it when finished.

   This is want I needed and for the price you couldn’t beat it. I love the interlocking cases the sockets come in you can keep them in the case or take them out store them in your tool box and use the case for storage. One of my sockets was discolored and Dewalt had me a new one in just days no questions asked and didn’t have to return the old one. Great product I have the 3/8 and 1/4 on order

    I just got these, they appear to be good quality. I got them (both SAE and Metric sets) for jobs that requires more torque, instead of using the12 point set I have. They fit onto the recessed lug nuts on my utv, also. The reason I’m only giving them 4 stars, because I’ve haven’t used them much.

    Generally, sockets are not built these days as stout as these are. Very thick wall construction, which does make them a little tight in some spaces – If I remember, I had a hard time getting them into some of the lug spaces on wheels. However, I have used these with my impact wrench a lot, and they are showing no signs of failure. I am not 100% sure that they are rated for impact, but I did it anyways. I am pleased with the performance. The grips on them.. I guess they are called “knurled beauty rings” are nice to get a not started before tightening it the rest of the way. Easy to hold on to, and easy to turn – even with greasy fingers and hands. My sockets are not as pretty as they once were, but they are still functioning fine. Ready to continue taking a beating. I wish I would have taken a picture.
